Two Big Returns Tonight On Monday Night Raw 9/30/24
Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, the final three-hour edition of the year, came to us live from the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, delivering a night of surprises as two superstars made their returns after being sidelined for weeks due to attacks by Bronson Reed. In a backstage segment with The Miz and Braun Strowman, R-Truth made his surprising return, seemingly with no memory of being attacked by Reed. Truth, always full of energy, told Miz that he’s been watching the show and didn’t appreciate how Karrion Kross had been “picking on” Miz. In response, Truth announced that he had secured a tag team match for them against The Authors of Pain (AOP). Despite Kross having nothing to do with AOP or picking on The Miz, “Awesome Truth” reunited and competed against the dominant team, but they ultimately fell short. After their defeat, Miz turned on Truth, attacking him in the ring and walking away, signaling the end of their partnership.
Later in the night, during the main event “Last Monster Standing” match between Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed, the two behemoths caused chaos, breaking the ring and taking out the first few rows of fans in a brutal clash. As the match reached its finish, Seth Rollins made his surprise return, running down the ramp and delivering a curb stomp to Bronson Reed onto steel steps. This interference secured the victory for Strowman as Rollins got revenge on Reed, who had put him out of action for weeks. Raw ended with Rollins staring down Reed, making it clear that their rivalry is far from over.
