Why Did Samantha Irvin Leave WWE ?

Samantha Irvin addressed fans’ speculation on Instagram following news of her WWE departure. Fans had theorized that her husband, Ricochet — a former WWE Superstar now in AEW — may have influenced her to follow him to the rival promotion.

Responding to these comments, Irvin clarified that her exit had nothing to do with Ricochet or AEW. She explained that she just didn’t enjoy announcing and had hoped to transition into a managerial or general manager role within WWE. However, the company did not see a future for her in those positions which ultimately led her to make the decision to move on. Irvin added that with Ricochet being a millionare, she has the freedom to not work jobs she doesn’t want to.
